i started a new account with a different named and attempted to email the new account 2 weeks ago and it never got through. i've had several people tell me as well that they emailed me through my profile and i never recieved any. this explains why some of you are never replied to when you attept contacting someone that way.

Yup, I sent myself a test email and didn't get it. And here I thought some of you were rude unresponsive bastards...I take it all back!

As a last resort, if the request is urgent, we could adopt a standard way to post email address without using the @ and . symbols (e.g., mpaulsen#nwoutpost,com) in order to thwart spambots and crawlers.
