Howard Devoto

I've just made it through an existential crisis induced by listening to Howard Devoto's "Rainy Season" (about twenty times) for the first time in about twenty years . . . hooo boy does this bring it back. . .

Can anyone tell me if the album "Jerky Versions of the Dream" is as good as this single, and if it's worth searching for?

Unfortunately that single is unique as far as the rest of that album. Don't get me wrong, the albums is very good - but "rainy season" doesn't sound like anything else on that album.

'rainy season' is actually my favorite song of all time :)

Thanks jfiber, that's exactly the information I was looking for.

I remember kinda liking "Rainy Season" when I'd hear it from time to time on KYYX--and of course the title has a special significance in the Pacific NW [:)]--but I didn't remember any mor
