Theyre definately my favorite nu new wave band.........I just love them...They remind of Garbage...

I haven't heard them, but I guess personally if they sound like Garbage, I never thought of their sound being of a new wave influence myself. Just my opinion.

There's nothing I hate more than fake new wave tarted up with some keyboard toots and a stripey new wave shirt.
That's all I have to say about Metric.
That being said, everyone else I know is loving it.

I kept reading good things about them so I went out and bought the CD having heard nothing from them. I tried to like it, I really did......listened to it twice. Seconds after finishing I couldn't remember anything about it. Nothing stood out.....compl
