What kind of music do you think you would be listening to if you were 18-22 today?

I think I would be going to raves and dance clubs and dancing my ass off to the latest strain of techno. I'd probably also dabble in a little indie rock and electronica when I needed to be mellow. I'd hate hip-hop and rap.

Today, I don't like techno and only some indie rock and electronica. I hate hip-hop and rap.

I would say that I would probably be an indie-rock geek as that closely tailored my tastes from way back when-I listened to some synth-pop-but I don't if i'd like electronica.

I would probably have indie-rock for listening, and techno, trance, and industrial for when I went out.

God, though...I would hate to be a young person discovering music for the first time today, because of the overall lack of quality.

I think I'd be listening to what I listen to now...indie, electronica, the current barrage of 'garage' rock, etc etc.....

What I wonder, however, is if I would go back and listen to the groups that were my actual mainstays at that age.
