Look what I find when I'm supposed to be doing homework or work for my classes:

I enquired with CMJ (college media journal) If they had any archived cchart info-this page links to a .pdf that has the end of the year top-20-I wanted it becasue I'm thinking of doing a show on our new college radio station that I'm thinking of calling "Left Off The Dial" It's based on what I remember being the "golden age" of college radio-from 1979-1990. I'm going to base it around some rhino comps-what I have in my collection that I remember my station having and these charts from CMJ-the 1979 one is pretty interesting because it's obviously more AOR than new wave or "modern rock"

Great link Pike. The pdf is worth saving. It's a great document of the state of college radio at that time. It shows you that Steve Winwood and Phil Collins were still a big part of the scene. In fact, the lists still included these dinosaurs until th
