Marilyn Manson, IMO, is one more reason music today is what it is, the state of it, that enough people love this enought to make it big. To each their own I guess, I will not begrudge anyone their musical taste, but for me, it is pure sh*t.

I don't mind the Manson cover, Personal Jesus was never really one of my favorite Depeche Mode songs to begin with. By doing covers of Eurhtymics (Sweet Dreams) and Soft Cell (Tainted Love) and now Depeche Mode, I think Manson is helping to introduce the

I see Marilyn Manson as more of a parody, he is the Boy George of his era. Shocking for the sake of shock value...

He is seriously creeped out. At first, I thought he was disgusting, and I worried and wondered what kids today see in him, and why they take him so seriously. Also, his music is horrible sonically--it has little musicianship, and is just painful to hear.

Look, Marilyn is ok. I'm 39 years old and would rather listen to him than any of the rap, emo or pop crap that is churned out today. Manson is filling the void for the kids that are too young for Alice Cooper, Ozzy etc...
