Well after our foray into non-New Wave music with NTT12, it's time to return to our regularly scheduled programing. I've had this game finished for a while, but with the summer holiday season ending, I figured I would launch it on this holiday weekend to give any homebound bored folks something to do. I'm hoping this edition of the game will strike the ever elusive balance of <I>easy enough to be fun, but hard enough to be interesting.[/i] We shall see. [;)]

As usual, there are 50 songs clips - for a total of 100 points (1 point for artist, 1 point for title). There are 2 seconds of silence between song clips. Download your response form below and email it to me for tabulation when you're finished (my email address is on the form). Make sure to put your forum screen names on your answers, so I know who you are. I will send the Answer Sheet to everyone who sends me their responses (if you don't hear from me within 24 hours, I probably didn't get your email). Don't post your responses here!

Here's the link for the response form (my email address is on it):

Here's the song sampler link:

The game will end on <font color="red"><B>Friday September 17 at 4PM EDT[/b]</font>.

Good Luck! [:)]

Thanks for the new game fritz, I was wondering when we would see the new installment. I'll have to give it a few more listens before I submit my answers.

First, thanks.

Second, you know that topic about how old you feel. Well, my memory is well, I forget but the tune rings a bell.

After a few bold early bird responses, it looks like folks are hitting the wall around #39. You didn't really expect this to be easy the whole way through, did ya? Where's the fun in that! [:p]

<B>Midgame Update[/b]

I appears this game is off to a slow start. One week into the game and I've only received a few responses. The average score is a fairly modest 61 points and there are plenty of stumpers remaining to be identified (currently 17!

Ah! I'd been doing okay up until #20, and now I'm sitting here kicking myself in the head because I can't think of the song. This is going to bother me for days.

With a few more responses in over the weekend, we are down to 9 stumpers remaining (#16, #26, #27, #41, #44, #46, #47, #49, #50). I'm sure you folks know some of these.

Some of these are driving me nuts. Perhaps I will get no work done today between now and 4:00 p.m. and go through all of my music.
