Although we all love the Beggars Banquet years (ie: The hits), my fave period of Mr. Numan's was his mid 80s recordings for his own Numa label. I still listen to this stuff more than the early years.

I always favored his earlier works although I loved jagged, very gritty and harsh. Berserker was the first numa release I bought when it was orginialy released, kind of left me wondering why he changed his sound. "Hybrid" is a great updated release of all of his old classics and well worth getting.
