They say hindsight is 20/20. Let's put that to the test as far as music, fashion, and lifestyle which was better?

As far as music and fashion go 80's. Lifestyle 90's. Plus I find that the 90s bands had a little more humility than those in the 80s.

The only thing that was better for me in the 90's was that I began making a living after being in school during the 80s. Overall, I prefer the 80s even for lifestyle. To me the 90s was all about aggression, nihilism, and anything for shock value. This w

Music: Tie. I was young in both decades! Ha!

Lifestyle: The 90's. My Mom drove me everywhere in the 80's plus I had a $5.00 a week allowance. I was REALLY popular with girls obviously (sarcasm).

Fashion: The 80's were more flashy. I don't think anyo

The music, fashion, and lifestyle were a lot more fun in the 80s, but the 90s were when I began to live the life that I wanted to live, finding a serious boyfriend whom I later married, going to college, working and living on my own. I also had both of m

For me, the 80's blows the grunge covered, Macarena dancing, Beanie Baby loving backdoors off the 90's in every way possible.
I just really hated that decade. Sorry.[}:)]

Did you have to mention care bares? Anyway, I was so free in the 80's! I did my own thing and answered to very little. With the 90's came more responsibility so I guess I had to grow up. I finally calmed down, met someone and the rest is misery (oops) I m

I think both the 80s and 90s had their share of shitty music.

80's: carefree teen & college years. can't get much better than that. Nostalgia, fashion, fun, youth, dancing, late&all-night talks, etc.

The only good thing about the 90's was Bill Clinton ( I saw your earlier posts; sorry, but I was/ am a Clinton FAN

I certainly had a lot more fun in the 80s, but that time period took me through junior high to 2nd year law, i.e., a lot of time to goof off and follow/enjoy music, fashion, trends. It's hard to say whether it was just better then or whether I had more

Have to agree with Clinton being one of the very few bright spots of the 90's. Not a "dubya" fan here. The only "W" I enjoyed was the one in "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World".
