Did anybody go to their high school senior prom? Do you remember what THE prom song was? Did you want something different?
I went to my senior prom in May of 1983. The entire senior class "voted" from a short list of lame songs. I remember voting for a Pat Benatar song, but alas, I fear the voting was rigged!
My class prom song ended up being: "The Famous Final Scene" by Bob Seger

Don't really remember Prom night. Spent it in a hotel room with my date. Think we made our own music, but being 18 it must have been a short, punky song. ha ha!!

I do not remember the Prom song either. I guess I was ecstatic to be dating the best looking junior girl at the time.[:p] Oh, and the after prom party was the "real" fun!!![:D]

I'm with Mare Idol! I hated high school and the jerks that were there. I was too cool for them. If the people were better I would have gone but I could not wait to get the hell out!I think I went to a bar.

I also detested high-school and all of the morons that mourned its' end. I was pleased to be done with it and never attended any functions to do with school & peers that I wasn't forced to. I think I spent prom night sleeping, or watching TV with my broth

I didn't go to my Prom either. I wasn't into that kind of thing, altho I did have a modicum of "spirit" and enjoyed HS in general.

I'm pretty sure the Prom song was pretty lame, whatever it was (May 1986).

But KYYX4ever, I loved my purple taffeta dress and am just waiting for someone to have an 80s party so I can wear it again!

Who knows what my High School prom was like?
I wasn't there and neither were any of my friends.
You know what? I don't regret it one bit.

About 20 of us went to the beach and had a drunken anti-prom camp out. We somehow hooked up with some other kids

My high school girlfriend and I sat outside of teh hotel where our prom was and laughed at all the people going in, and how much money they spent.

Since I went to an all-boys Catholic HS, we didn't have a 'prom song'.

I went to my junior prom(never went to the senior prom) with a platonic male friend of mine. The theme was,"Hold Onto the Night" which I think was a Richard Marx song. His significant other was angry that he had taken me and confronted him at the door.
