Nah. More like 'lost' to the general consciousness but they're songs people really 'ought' to know? Whatever the case, it does make me wanna dig some of these up again.

I Could Be Happy is an odd choice for a British magazine. That was a top 10 hit in the UK.

In the US, probably forever. If Q was a US magazine, I'd wouldn't think it odd.

But maybe UK radio never plays old hits, I dunno.

How did "How to Be a Millionaire" slip by me. Does anyone know what year it came out. Anyone have an MP3 of this lost gem?

This is odd, since it is a British magazine. Many of these charted well such as Altered Images, as mentioned above. As did "Love In A Void" by Siouxsie. I would have though that ABC's "How To Be A Millionare" did as well, but maybe it charted better in the US than in Britain. "Sonic Reducer" by the Dead Boys and "Did You No Wrong" by the Sex Pistols are others that I assumed that everyone on both sides of the pond would be familiar with.

Still, a lot of great stuff listed.
