Wow! I must of spent most of my time fast forwarding through commercial breaks cos I don't remember many of those at all.

There are a number of commercials that best capture the new wave spirit, but my favorite has to be the Power of M--which I don't recall seeing at all back in the day, but it's great. There's also a link from the same site that leads to 50 MORE commercials. You will not feel like you've wasted an hour.

A good friend of mine was the "Devil Dog LICKER" (as opposed to biter, etc.) I wonder how many times Michael Jackson watched that ad on his betamax!
