At the time I did, I use to own a Max Headroom t-shirt. I liked the parody on the David Letterman show - Larry Bud Headroom.

What ever did happen to Bud Melman (Larry??) on Letterman? He was one of the best things about Letterman, I loved it when he was involved in anything. He could make you laugh without even saying a word. He seemed fairly old, did he pass on and I just neve

yes what a creative show it was - I remember on one show he was headless.. also loved the shifting lines in the background [8D]

I have all the Max Headroom eps on tape. It was truly a show ahead of its time.

I've seen "20 Minutes Into The Future" (the British pilot) and I have "Whackets" on tape somewhere.

I saw Larry "Bud" Melman do a live stand-up act in about 1986. He did his entire routine off of cue cards. It was Brilliant!

I was obsessed with Max Headroom in 1986. I had t-shirts, figures, books, cups, videos, and of course, the Art Of Noise single "Paranoimia."

I remember the hype over Max and a bunch of my friends watched it and thought it sucked, and even one of my die hard Art Of Noise friends hated the Paranomia song.

I have his Christmas 45 "Merry Christmas, Santa Claus." I've never found this song on CD. Anybody?

Whenever I hear The Art Of Noise, I always think of Max Headroom.
Just burned into my braincells I guess.
Maybe that's what he intended all along...[:p]

Anytime I see Matt Frewer in a movie or T.V. show I can't help but think to myself "That's Max Headroom!".

Anyone else remember how Max was pitched as completely computer generated? What a crock! Even at 13 I did'nt buy it.
