If you could see or could have seen just one performance of one song by one artist, what would you desperately want that to be?

Oh, my hugely stereotypic response: Ian Curtis belting out Dead Souls. Venue...why not the Factory at Hulme.

Japan doing "Quiet Life" 1980 in London with pints and drugs in the system, i'm 18 years old with a better hairline....oh and a couple page 6 girls on my arm...

...that's the fantasy...

It would be a toss up for me. Either witnessing The Jam in their heyday doing a blistering "In The City" or watching my half-namesake Su Tissue onstage performing "Janitor" with Suburban Lawns.

I would like to be audience member #43 at the infamous Sex Pistols show at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester, 1976. Performing any song.

It would have been an interesting show in itself, but just think, you could be hanging out with all the future heroes of post-punk right there for this one night that transforms them all.

That's a hard one! I think it may have to be Patti Smith doing Land during her heyday - the 77 or 78 infamous Lincoln Center show.

[/quote]Granted, Queen was definitely the show stealer but something about Bono's charismatic breakout performance made clear to me that U2 had indeed 'Arrived'
