O.K band.I have''Thirty seconds over Sotho'',their second album.Aor-ish power popi'd describe their sound, with nice hooks and good musicanship.Still i would like to listen to their first one.

awesome post!!!!!!!!! the hawks were awesome one of my favs of the '80's....their first album got such rave reviews!!!!!

There is very little on their self-titled record that I consider remotely new wave. Their hit, "Right Away," could have been recorded by Poco for all it mattered. The other two singles off it were better (not that they did anything), but a good half of the album is '70s Light FM -- and hardly the cream of the crop as far as that genre is concerned.
(I've never listened to "Otho" or "Perfect World Radio.")
