I'm really into some of the instrumental bands that were on SST in the mid to late 80s like Pell Mell and Lawndale. If any of you know of any instrumental bands that played similar music I would sure appreciate your insight.

Ummm.... Pigbag maybe? Dif Juz? Not sure if their similiar to the bands you've mentioned - never heard of either.

Lanterna is great. Really like the song "Atlantic" I think??
Don't think you will find them too similar though to the SST sound.
