SNIFF N' THE TEARS,,,, especially when you turned on any station (pop/rock or new wave) in 1978/79 & heard the song.....
drivers seat !!!!! ?????
drivers seat was from their fab debut album "fickle heart" in 1978/79.
they also released 3 other albums as well.
sniff n' the tears were considered a new wave band by the critics when they came out & the critics loved them!!!!
especially paul roberts songwriting....
i remember the fickle heart getting comparisons to the first dire straits album which had sultans of swing on it.
there's also a very rare 12" mix of drivers seat that came out in
the late 1990's that's very good.....
