my all time favorite compliation album(s) are...........
MADE IN BRITAIN 1980 (polydor records),,it was released in the u.s. to introduce american record buyers to some of polydors best sellers at the time in england,without having to release their albums in the states.
the groups on the MADE IN BRITAIN compliation each had 4 songs on the album and the groups were.......
COMSAT ANGELS
PROTEX
INVADERS
EXCEL
my other favorite new wave compliation albums were the 2 double disc
compliations from......CBS/EPIC records called,,,EXPOSED...1980/81
that featured such new wave bands at the time signed to the cbs labels as...........
THE HITMEN
THE SORROWS
LOVERBOY
HEADPINS
GARY MYRICK & THE FIGURES
THE HAWKS
THE SINCEROS
and many other bands cbs records were trying to market...
all 3 compliation(s) albums are worthy too add to your record collection!!!!!!!
