Curious to hear from any local clubgoers from the day. Scramjet, Egg-Roger, Spacecircus, red x red - any of you hit the clubs in the Salt Lake City - Provo - Orem area back then? I've only kept in touch with one or two regulars of the local club scene.

Where I used to go . . .

in Salt Lake City's Sugarhouse district:

Xenon ("the back lot") (torn down - now a Walgreens)

The Palladium (torn down - now a new stripmall but had some good shows)

The original Frisco Bay on 33rd South before it burned down.

in downtown Salt Lake City:

Impulse - in the basement of the Boston-Newhouse buildings.

The Foundation - corner of 2nd South and about 3rd East.

DV8 - early 90's

Sanctuary - old church on 3rd West; later big time Goth hangout.

in the burbs:

Club Maxim - in Murray. Building still stands but no longer a club.

In Provo/Orem:

Plastique - great club; building still stands but not a club anymore.

The Star Palace - went there once, maybe.

Some clubs I never visited but should have:

Twelve Oaks in Exchange Place in SLC.

And of course the shows - mostly at Park West up in the Mountains, some at the Fairgrounds, Salt Palace, etc.

What about you?
