"A message from the Beautiful South :
The Beautiful South have split up due to musical similarities. The band would like to thank everyone for their 19 wonderful years in music.
The band will be inviting a small group of close friends, music industry allies and supporters to a 'Celebratory Wake' in London at the end of February."
