If I Knew Then, What I Know Now...

What would you have done differently back in the day?
If you had the opportunity, would you go on a one way trip back to January 1, 1981 for a 23 year do-over?
You can't take anyone with you. You just go back and the last 23 years never happened.
You never got married, your children were never born, everything you did since 1981 is erased.
I used to think that I would jump at this chance, now I know I couldn't.

Who would stay here and who would step into the past?

At the risk of triggering "Mid-life crisis much?" inquiries (the answer is yes!), I will say yes, I'd take that trip.

I'd be fifteen, a happy if insecure preppy New Waver (I didn't think I was a preppy at the time but I definitely wasn't a punk), liste

I'd take better care of myself first and formost.
I would have been more serious about the band(s) I was in.
I would have gone to college and gotten a better paying job.
I would invest in a little company called Microsoft.

You can bring your kids, but not your husband.
Would you go back anyways and try to convince his past-self that he REALLY is their father and is destined to be with you?
How would you explain that one to him?
What if twent
