New Wave Outpost Forum

The following list was the play list for a dance held at PLU outside Tacoma in 1988. The idea was that, since equipment was rather primitive, we would record the music for the dance on cassette and then all that one would have to do at the dance would be to change tapes. I actually don’t know if this play list ever made it to the dance floor. I do remember some negotiating over what would be on the list. Anyway, Here it is.

The one thing I remember about putting this together was a lot of deal making. I think that is how Rick Astley got on the list.
