as most of you know,spandau ballet were the leaders(leading) band of the new romantic movement in england,followed secondly by,duran duran,then.........visage,adam & the ants,modern romance,etc.....
which spandau ballet album you feel best represents that era/style of new romantics ?????
i have to say..........
spandau ballet "journey to glory"
spandau ballet "diamond"
spandau ballet "true" ( a slight departure from the style,but because of the true album,it brought the new romantic movement into light)
the only duran duran album in my opinion that was new romantic was their debut album & mini lp,carnival.
spandau ballet really was the formost of all the new romantics.
for trivia.....in germany,the new romantics were called..."poppies" & used to get beat up & harassed by the punks & new wavers.

I just heard the song "Once More" for the first time, a comeback single from 2009, and it's a very good pop song, and Tony's vocals are great as always.

I'm a little more excited than I should be to see a Georgie Rockwood post lifted from the depths 
But yes - in general I agree Tony Hadley's voice has stood up well. Saw them live a few years ago and it was actually an awesome / tight show.
