"The Ladytron"? Not "Ladytron"

Has has anyone heard this band? They had a 2000 album that you would swear is absolutely birthed from the core of 70s glam-rock. It is a trip. It's much more aptly named than the electroclash Ladytron, who I quite like as well. If you were into very early Roxy Music, T. Rex, and Bowie, this is all those guys mixed together. Very very cool IMHO.

Is this the same band that did some of the music for the movie "Velvet Goldmine"? There was a pickup band that had, I believe, people like Thom Yorke & Thurston Moore involved that did a few songs on the Soundtrack for "VG"...didn't know they did a whole album though.

It doesn't sound like the same group. A guy named Ted Velykis looks like the main driver for this group with no mention of Yorke or Moore.

<p align="justify">I have seen an album by another band called "Ladytron" (who are not the Electroclash band) and it looked like something old - more to the point, it looked like something that might be too proggy for my tastes. Is it all Prog Rock or is it something totally different?
