I'll be honest upfront and say that this is a plug for my forthcoming novel, 6 Sick Hipsters (Kensington). But I honestly think most of you would really dig the book. Not only does it have a character obsessed with collecting obscure new wave music (much of it gleaned from my years here) but it's bursting with '80s culture. And sex, dugs and rock and roll. And blind knitters. Oh, and a killer monkey.
When I say forthcoming I really mean it, the book won't be on shelves until April 1, 2008 but I figure I might as well get out there and start talking about it now.

I stopped reading completely about the time I got this book (and many others started piling up). I finally decided to read and this was the first book I picked up.
I read it in a day and a half. Couldn't put it down. Twisted. Bizarre. Cool New Wave and obscure 80's references. When's the movie??!!! Good Stuff!
