A new movie CONTROL about the life and death of Ian of Joy division is playing at Cannes to rave reviews. I'm really excited about this! The film is directed by Anton Corbijn of Depeche Mode video fame and stars Sam Riley who bears a striking resemblance to Ian Curtis in appearance and attitude. The film was shot in black n white, When I think of Joy division I think in Black n white terms.
