Is Duran really New Wave ????

I could be wrong. But, Arcadia was more interesting than the later stuff.
Power Station was completetly wicked rock.
I am a avid fan of Duran, but I just think they were mainstream for the 80's. They had the perfect formula to look good, make sellable records and sell out concerts. I saw them a few times in the late 80's after the "Big Thing" album.
Few bands have the staying power as these guys have after 27-29 years later. They can still rock.
Fall Apart, Golden Heart, too late, too late, too late to start.
