Hey, he was an essential figure in some classic movies in the 80s, and had his Rappin' Rodney record. I read about 4-5 days ago he was in a coma following heart valve surgery, but was beginning to be a little responsive after 9 days like this. Since then, I have not seen any updates?? Anyone heard his status?? Man, he is 82 and we're going to lose him some day, but I hope he is able to recover and have some more good years with his family. I am a big fan of his routines, his movies, even the goofy ones plus the classics, and Rappin' Rodney was a fun record. I tell ya, it ain't easy bein' Rodney....

Loved his movies and his stand-up routines. He is one of those comedians, that I laugh at before he even speaks. I hope he pulls through.

Sadly, I just learned today that Rodney Dangerfield passed away. I can't think of anything else to say.

I too was quite sad to hear of his passing today. He was a big part of the 80s culture, and from a comic standpoint, a true icon. We're planning a little Rodney movie-thon this weekend, Back To School, Caddyshack, Easy Money.

He was indeed a fantastic entertainer and a good man. It's so sad to see him go at such a young age. One of the funniest men in the business in the 80s.

Waht's intresting is that he actually felt compelled to follow his comic muse-after his second marriage-he really fell into a routine as a suburban siding salesman-but he really wanted to perform-

Great part of easy money was the huge wedding in his house. Then the camera rolls back and you see a birds eye view of all those people packed into his little yard.
