The Dugites - Forgotten Girl-Fronted Aussie Band

Does anyone here know of/remember the Dugites? Sort of Australia's answer to Blondie, with a canon full of clever, catchy pop tunes.

My Australian friend tipped me off to them last month, and I've been hooked ever since. They were fronted by Lynda Nutter and released three albums and an EP before they broke up:

"The Dugites" (1980)
"West of the World" (1981)
"No Money" (EP - 1982)
"Cut the Talking" (1984)

They had hit singles in Australia with songs like "In Your Car," "Waiting," "Part of Me," "Cut the Talking" and "Juno and Me." You can see videos for all of these on Youtube.
In 2004 they released a "Best Of" on CD, which is already pretty difficult to track down.

I've been able to track down some of their stuff as mp3 in addition to the best of CD, so if anyone wants to hear and can't find them, I'm happy to help. I am now looking to find more of the non-CD songs as mp3.

I can't believe this band was not more well-known. They are a must-listen band for anyone who likes female-fronted new wave/80s pop!
