I think that "Break My Stride" was both melodic and innovative. The bouncy keyboard-groove and silly lyrics set the stage for many similar songs by more successful artists. Yet, no one ever mentions Wilder in the same breath as Gary Numan or Vince Clark.
I'd like to know why.
(This should really infuriate the obscure new wave snobs) [:D]
