To be honest i don't think there is anything from this era that comes to close in terms of sheer musical quality to Swindon's finest......just my opinion.

Although they've disbanded, Oh No Ono's Eggs album sounds alot like latter (Apple Venus) era XTC to me...not the voice, but the music.
