I'm trying to recreate an old mix tape I found from 1987 -- there's a song on it that I think is called "Shirley," but I don't know the artist and haven't been able to figure it out online. Does anyone know of this song? It is slow, sung by a man, pretty spare background. "Shirley...I'm quite excited to be"

Billy Bragg. It's called 'Greetings to the new brunette.' It also features the late great Kirsty MacColl on backing vocals.
