We all grew up listening to NW music.

But, what are we listening to now? I still listen to 80's stuff, these days I really dig the current tecno, rave and chillout music.

Fall Apart, Golden Heart, too late, too late, too late to start.

I listen to a lot of Trance and Electronica.

Some of my favorite active pop bands are Saint Etienne, Ivy, the Future Sound of London, 808 State,

For recent New Wave "sounding" bands I like The Killers, Maroon 5, and to a lesser degree Interpol.

<p align="justify">You guys know how there was a Lounge revival back in the 90s? Well, it was just a passing fad for most everyone - except for me[}:)] I still get a kick outta those compilations and albums. I have a near perfect collection of those [i]Ultra-Lounge[/i] compilations (about 20-something discs). I also have five or six volumes of [i]Music For A Bachelor's Den[/i] plus a few more oddities here and there. I wanna get more J-Pop/J-Rock and maybe even some K-Pop. I only have a L'Arc En Ciel compilation, which I like, but nothing more. Recently, I bought a double-disc best of compilation of Pupo's hits. Those are excellent as well. Now that I think about it, I'm just looking for all-around good Pop and Rock music in other languages.

I'll second the Editors although I haven't heard their second album yet. Ditto for Arctic Monkeys and Orson. I also enjoyed the Lily Allen, Maroon 5, and Common discs that came out last year. I loved the first Killers disc, but the last one didn't do much for me.

Outside of that, I just download the odd radio hit from ITunes.

Well, I grew wp during the Brit Pop era, so I listen to it frequently. And there's a lot of artists from the scene of these last 5 years which I like: Interpol, Editors, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, José Gonzalez, The Bravery, Franz Ferdinand, etc...
But what I've been listening to the most apart from NW/Post Punk is to EBM, Futurepop and industrial music. I really enjoy bands like And One, Melotron and VNV Nation.
