"Just In/Out of Earshot"
Posted: Thu Aug 16, 2007 5:54 amWas re-listening (for the 10,000th time) to AFOS's The Story of A Young Heart, when it struck me that at the very end of "The More You Live" there are some very faint tones, very difficult for me to hear. Often these bits or music at the end or beginning of song are so faint that I'm not even sure they are "really" there (if you catch my drift)
For example when do you hear the first "yelling" child in China Crisis's "The Highest High"?
Or the last lonely drawn out horn at the very end of ABC's "All of my heart" Is it there? Do I just think it is?
So to the group I ask, Do you have songs like this with almost inaudible bits? If so, what are your favorites?
