I heard this in a HMV store in Scotland when I was visiting there back in March, and I remember becoming quite angry when I heard it, as it just sounded so pointless (it's one of my favorite Smiths songs.)

However, there's a lot of other great songs on the record (which mostly consists of covers), so I do own the CD. There's a track with Amy Winehouse that's quite good (Mark Ronson produced her new CD), and a version of the Kaiser Chiefs song "Oh My God" with vocals by Lily Allen that's quite good.
