Just so this video this morning....

A Cover of The Smiths - "Stop Me If You Think You've This One Before"

I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that someone covered a Smith's song....I don't know if this is a good thing or bad!

That's one of the lamest Smith's covers I've ever heard.

I sort of like it. It has really grown on me considering that initially I hated it and now I sing along to it.

I heard this in a HMV store in Scotland when I was visiting there back in March, and I remember becoming quite angry when I heard it, as it just sounded so pointless (it's one of my favorite Smiths songs.)

However, there's a lot of other great songs on the record (which mostly consists of covers), so I do own the CD. There's a track with Amy Winehouse that's quite good (Mark Ronson produced her new CD), and a version of the Kaiser Chiefs song "Oh My God" with vocals by Lily Allen that's quite good.

That's shocking...that MTV is playing videos at all
