Jealous of the English folks who just wrapped up Reading. I heard a highlight was NIN's cover of Dead Souls. Meh...

Not bad as far as live covers go, I'm sure it was great fun if you were there, but I don't need to hear it again.

I like the studio version recorded for The Crow soundtrack back in '94. Decent enough version, though my favorite JD cover is probably The Swans version of Love Will Tear Us Apart back in '88.

Maybe I was being too harsh on Trent...I just saw Fall Out Boy doing "Love Will Tear Us Apart":

I concur with most of the opinions:

"They should be murdered"

"Kill them all"

"Please...kill me"

"This disgusts me"

"Ugh, those twats should be barbecued for this"

"This sucks donkey balls"

"Whores. This is an atrocity"

"Fallus Boy"

"I am throwing up"

And the obvious...

"FOB are stupid fucking noobs"

I give a lot of leeway with covers , but that was the the worst I've ever heard. Did Fallout Boy actually listen to what they recorded?
