Any fans of this band? I believe they were part of the early 80's rockabilly revival along with acts such as Phantom Rocker & Slick, The Rockats, Roman Holliday, and The Stray Cats. I just love the song "Make A Circuit With Me" which sort of made them a one hit wonder. It's so much fun and such an underrated classic. I also like their songs Jeepster, Big Green Car, and Rockabilly guy and I think the band was also big in England.

Search out the UK version of the 12" of"Make A circuit with me" ---it's slightly extended with a little more dancey punch....

"Make a circuit with me" is a great song. I love that stuff. I also liked The Rockats. Roman Holiday not so much.

Excellent band. Aside from "Make A Circuit With Me" and an excellent cover of "Jeepster", check out "John, I'm Only Dancing". That was another great track.

I had a buddy who was a big fan of all rockabilly. He was turned on to the Polecats before "Make a Circuit" came out. I distinctly remember recording "Red Ready Amber" off an EP or single onto a dance tape at his insistence (he used to help me mix these things for dorm, fraternity, sorority events, etc). His reaction to "Make a Circuit" was kinda "Meh, they have tons better." And they do. I'd definitely encourage looking up more of their material.

I like their tunes: Black Magic, Miss Bobbysocks, Rockabilly Guy, Rockin' All Nite, School Of Rock 'N' Roll, and She's The One To Blame to name a few...

The great thing about that neo-rockabilly movement of the early 80's is that it prompted 15-year-old-me to start looking for and listening to the original rockabilly, such as johnny burnette, sun-era elvis and johnny cash, carl perkins, gene vincent, etc etc...

[Stuck In The Eighties]

I can remember an album I had back in '80 by Rocky Burnette (Johnny's son, I believe).
He had a hit in the states with "Tired of Toein' the Line". I think it had a very rockabilly sound to it. If I recall, the album had a few other decent songs on it. Did anyone else have this album?

It was called "Son of Rock-n-Roll"

These guys still play at Rockabilly festivals.

I saw them a few years ago.

They don't play real poppy stuff like Make A Circuit (which I do like), they're a lot more rockin' these days. I was really surprised at how good their show was.
