Those off the shoulder torn-looking shirts with a bra/tank top strap showing. My girls died when I told them I wore my jeans so tight in the '80s that sometimes I had to lie down on the bed to slide them on and button/zip them up. Also remember skinny, glittery belts, pointy-toe shoes (popular again), pirate boots with pants tucked in (popular again). In Atlanta during the early '80s we wore alot of "vintage" clothing from the second hand shops. Long trench coats were cool there, too. Bi-level haircuts!

I'm glad the pointy-toed shoes are back in fashion(and not seasonal novelties from Ragstock). That's what I'm talking about!

Topsiders with no socks. Great for keeping your ankles cool and breezy in warm weather and for that just-back-from-my-yacht look, but bad news from a foot odor standpoint.

Yes...the bondage pants! But the originals were made by Boy of London and they don't make them now. They made the muti-zippered ones in black and plaid. They also made those strap pants too!
More fads...Red high-top Keds, skull rings, '50's suit jackets (from the Salvation Army, of course!) and safety pins!!!

...and the D.I.Y. tee shirts. Buy a cheap shirt, acrylic paint and a small paint brush and you could make your own tee-shirts. We used to have "painting parties" during the week so we could make new tee shirts for the weekends. You had to dry them with a blow dryer so they wouldn't smear.
I threw most of mine out but I still have my home made Kraut shirt. It no longer fits but it was the one I made that came out best so I saved it as a memory.
