WFDU's Top 50 New Wave Songs Of All Time

Well, in honor of the Thanksgiving weekend we'll be counting down the top 50 New Wave songs of all time as voted by listeners this Saturday night from 9 to 1am. There are a few surprises on the list (There are many more Altered Images fans than Cure fans out there, I suppose).

Good to see "Ahead" by Wire on that list. Such a great song.
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights..really?! Aside from this one hardly being new wave, "Running Up That Hill" would seem to be the obvious vote-getter. Hmm, interesting vote by the fans.

There were quite a few "eye raisers" on the list outside of the ones that truly belonged. Never in a million years would I consider "Don't Dream It's Over" to be New Wave but majority rules.
