.....what's the one album you turn to? Name something off the top of your head.....no lists either. The answer should come within a few seconds. Maybe it's not written in stone - it could probably be different a month or a year from now. But for me, I often turn to the Smiths' debut album to find solace. What a great, reliable, timeless, go-to album to relieve the I-Don't-Know-What-The-Hell-To-Listen-To doldrums.

When I give up on music, like burn out, etc. I turn to classical music, yep, classical, usually baroque period music.

So I turn to Johan Sebastian Bach, usually the "Brandenburg Concertos." [:D] (Which were never performed in his lifetime, not even by the count that commissioned them until hundreds of years later...)

If new wave/power pop/punk, it would be: The Clash's "London Calling."
