Great News!!!
Just received word that the never released 2nd album, No Shelter, will be issued on CD with 11 tracks and 2 B sides. Time to celebrate for all the CWN fans... Here is some of what I was emailed:

Fans of the band know that the follow-up album to "Urban Beaches" was indeed recorded and scheduled to have been released on MCA back in 1989, only to have that release abandoned at the eleventh hour when the ownership of the record company changed hands. (This resulted in a whole slew of acts being shown the exit, including C.W.N.) Such was the chaos at the time that the record was even reviewed by 'Q' magazine, although not a single copy of the album ever appeared in record stores.

So, Red Coral are now finally going to answer the question... "What The Hell Ever Happened To That Band?!?"

We are delighted to let you our loyal correspondents know, in advance of our press release and media mail-outs, that Cactus World News's long-lost second studio album, "No Shelter"... WILL FINALLY be available to order from 9pm (Dublin Time) on Tuesday 13th of April 2004.

Once again it will *only* be available through the official C.W.N. website.

I must say that back in the 90s when the LP was being replaced by the CD I saved many a copy of Urban Beaches from the bargain bin and gave them away to friends. I figured that such a great album and band should not suffer the consequence of getting chuc
