Was surfing through the channels last night and came across the new Gwen solo video. It has a "story" about her hitting a writing block and seeking inspiration. It then turned into a Alice in wonderland type of story.
I really liked it and it seemed to have a retro new wave sound. Not only is she gorgeous, but she carries the NW banner.

I must say I did like her during No Doubt's early records but after a while, it just really sort of vanished with her getting too caught up in the commercial/mainstream bandwagon [B)]... I lost interest, yes, but I'd definitely look forward to seeing that

I agree w/Rubbeet921. She's a S-e-l-l-o-u-t.

I thought the video was self-indulgent and a big waste of money.
The song was forgettable.

But she is hot.

Granted, she's hot. However I'd rather look at Brook Burke.

I'm not a fan of her or her band but Ive read that her new lp is to have an 80's new wave sound: keyboards/drum machines and production.
She's even roped in New Order to play on a track(god knows how)

the first time i heard of gwen safani and no doubt was back around 1994 or 1995. and when i heard the tragic kingdom album she did in fact have an 80's sound to her music. she kinda reminded me of lene lovich's new wave style with a twist of debra harry.
