Books/Music- "Sound of our Town" by Brett Milano. It's a history of Boston Rock'n Roll, came out this fall. A lot of interesting tidbits I never knew. A good read for anyone into the Boston scene.

In terms of music, no CD's this year but I did get two different live Ramones DVD's. Each concert was different, I swear!!!
I can't wait to watch them.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

I got Blondie's Eat to the Beat cd/dvd combo. I haven't seen some of those videos in years. Funny to watch the pre-Mtv style of video & I forgot how out of it Debbie always looked. Awesome!

A Sony Home Theater System (to replace the Phillips that decided it didn't want me to watch anything), a Toshiba DVD player, Pink Floyd's "Live at Pompeii" DVD (love this!) and some bits and baubles. Nice haul.

I love See's . . . got a big box of "Nuts & Chews" myself. But as a PNW girl I must ask how the "Toffee-ettes" compare to Tacoma's own Almond Roca?

Coop: Currently listening to it and a few of the tracks are very sparse sound-wise and I don't mean in the way it was recorded, seem to run out of ideas for them.

I got nothing NW-y, but I did get some spending money so I could splurge on some CDs/vinyl. I plan on going to Hogwild Records (this awesome local store with a great selection of stuff) to spend me some bucks. Otherwise I got pants, underwear, a silver necklace, a little stuffed reindeer (I love little stuffed animals), a small bottle of hand lotion, a gift certificate to the movies, and a tin full of cookies.

Ooh, another thing I want to spend some of my money on is George Gimarc's complete Punk Diaries. I've seen it on the shelves at Borders and have snuck cursory looks into it about once a week for the past year or so, so I'll be able to finally purchase the book.

Something about the butteriness of the Sees...mmmmm.

Club80, I think the Spam's from having lived overseas on military bases...you know you can actually get Spam and Rice and Eggs at some McDonalds in Hawaii?!
