Hi can anyone tell me why the original lineup didnt stay together after the bands reunited special 3-4 years ago?I thought it said they were?How long did they stay together fter that?

Wow. I'm embarrased--I had no idea that the full title of "Messages" was "Messages from the Rings of Saturn" and I've always considered myself a big AFOS fan. Amazing the things you learn on the NWO.[:)]

Too bad the Reno is what's keeping a Flock reunion tour from happening full scale. He is far and away, hands down, no question the most talented player in the band. Mike Score's singing voice aside, is was Reno who defined the Flock of Seagulls sound. Really, the rest of them were almost a backing band for his guitar skills. Pity that they can't keep him around...

I got to hang with mike befroe a show many years befreo Band reunited. His voice was still pretty strong and the guys with him were better in some respects then the records I rememeber. he did strike me as a bit of a ass but i got the aoutograph and love the music.

Maybe, but he's always been into booze (and in the past drugs) so it's not a surprise. Saw at Electric Dreams in London with someone I know who's a big fan of him, and he looked old before his time. He's completely broke and has very few possessions, a sad waste.
