What New Wave song was your "first dance" at your wedding or at a significant moment in an important relationship?

My wife and I waltzed to "Joan of Arc (Maid of Orleans)" at our wedding (our compromise to the parental demand that our first dance be a waltz). I couldn't bear to let anyone else DJ my wedding, so I mixed all the music in advance and played it from tape.

well, we skipped the whole "first dance" scenario at our wedding (it was a casual affair), but I find "Maid of Orleans" to be super romantic (even with the sad lyrics). I think my heart would just about melt if I saw a couple waltz to that [:)]

Wow! I wish I could have attended your wedding, jfiber. You must have an amazing partner to have gone with "Second Skin" as the first dance -- an extraordinary song by any measure, but as you said, a very, very long intro through which to improvise.
