So, what else are the various offspring of our musical heroes up to? Are any of them showing up on the radar, pop culture- or other-wise?

Robert Levon Been of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is the son of Michael Been of the Call.

Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes is the son of a musician too but I can't remember who at the moment.

OMG I feel so old now, even though Neil Finn's son is probably not even ten years my junior (they say he's in his early twenties, while I'm in my late twenties). But -- wow.

Another shocking moment: Finding out the son of Stephen Richardson of The Sights is <strike>my age</strike> one year older than me. I was, like, the hell? (Said son is the one who uploaded the "So Much For Everlasting Love" video onto YouTube, so if you'll visit his profile page you can see his age on display.) (Just went back there and his age was updated and I was shocked once more.)

How about finding out that the hot co-worker/friend of your girlfriend's who comes over a lot and who you sometimes do bong hits with is the daughter of someone you graduated high school with? That'll make you feel old. But in a kinda awesome way. [8D]

Duran Duran's Andy Taylor has a son (his name is also Andy, I guess Jr.) who is a musician. He's pretty good-looking, too. I think Roger Taylor's oldest son is also a musician. I heard this a few years ago and was amazed....I guess it is about that time that our fave musical acts' children would be coming of age and perhaps following in their parents' footsteps. Oh yeah, and Simon LeBon's oldest daughter may get into modelling if she hasn't already. And boy is she HOT. Her mother--Simon's wife, Yasmin--still models and is still gorgeous.

OMG KYYX4ever, I nearly forgot about Andy and Roger Taylor's kids! I think it'd freak me out the most to see what Roger's eldest looks like, seeing as though I'm so accustomed to seeing him as this hot young thang that he used to be and thus cannot possibly be the [i]father[/i] of some hot young thang of today. Oh, and have you seen what Nick Rhodes's daughter looks like now? She's old enough to order drinks in an American bar! Which brings me to the most aging moment in my recent history, i.e. thinking back to the youngest kid I ever babysat and knowing that now she can legally buy liquor. And, I mean, I used to feed her ants on a log and play Barney videos for her and everything! God.

Johnny Marr has a son who singed up with a record deal.
