HA! Funny someone knows them.. I own the original 7" single for "Just A Gigolo" which is an amazing dance track, and will go down in "O" History along with The Flirts "Passion" which I play almost every night.. I totally love all of his work, and I have several video's including the classic "Jukebox" and One, Two Three's "Another Knife In The Back"

Yes, he has done alot of producing. Do you remember his own 12" single "Fantasy Girl"? I used to hear that in clubs in Philly.

I really like the Flirts LP "10c A Dance". I don't know that I've heard any of his other work.

Bobby O was a freakin' genius. Far better appreciated in Europe than here. He found Jesus in 1988 and thats the last anyone's heard of him. He did get tons of cash off the PSB as EMI had to pay him royalies etc. to get them our of thier contract with Bobcat records. Try to dowload (or purchase if you can get it) 2 many djs - Soulwax, they put him in their mixes - sounds absolutely brilliant.

Like his solo stuff, also Oh Romeo, Ronnie Griffith and Waterfront Home. Some Flirts... he also did a song with Boytronic i think. Great hi-nrg

anyone remember the scene by the pool in Nightmare on Elm street 2 or 3 or whatever with "Whisper to a scream" being played.... and than Freddy shows up and breaks up the party [}:)]

Bobby-O picked up his previously unfinished law-study in the late 80's and became a NY lawyer, formed a new record lable in 1996 (and recorded some stuff, available on ebay). And he even came with a new album in 2005 'Outside The Inside'. Pretty cool album !.

"Fantasy Girl" almost single-handedly crosses the bridge between Latin Freestyle and synth-pop that I KNEW always existed. In fact, that 12" single has several versions of the song, one of them being a "nu wave music" mix.

I have another 12" by him, 'Memories'. Both are on the Micmac record label, which put out alot of great freestyle singles back in the late 80's (Cynthia's "Thief of Hearts" being another off the top of my head).

Bobby O recently released a new album Bright Nothing World.... it's more fun upbeat Euro Nrg-disco and electropop [:)]

He also produced the one and only album of the band The Now from NY in late 70s,in a more power pop/punk direction.

Bobby O cut his teeth on the early NY punk scene as it morphed into new wave; on the Various Artists/Max's Kansas City 1976 album ,Orlando produced the three tracks by Wayne County & the Backstreet Boys,as well as the two tracks by The Fast;
