OK, in the spirit of myirwin's effort a couple months back, I've decided to put together another "Name That Tune" sampler for everybody to test their New Wave knowledge. I decided to make it shorter than myriwin's 100 songs in order to boost participation - this one is only 50 songs - for a total of 100 points (1 point for artist, 1 point for title). Download your response form and email it to me for tabulation. Don't post your responses here!
Here's the link for the response form (my email address is on it):

Here's the song sampler link:

There's a bit of everything in there. I expect some of you guys will tear it up, except for a few potentially tough ones in there. [;)]
Good Luck! [:)]
DON'T RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE BY POSTING YOUR RESPONSES HERE! [}:)]

Fritz - Did you forget to add the disclaimer "Not intended for use by those whose egos bruise easily"? If your intention was to kick my arse - mission accomplished! I recognized maybe 20 on the first pass. But thanks for putting it togeth

Don't feel bad. It isn't supposed to be easy! [:p]

It soooo sucks being on this side of it. I think I'm with Dave at about 20! It is truly better to give than to receive...no pitcher/catcher connotations please!

I think I got 24 full answers correct and 3 other partials. I recognized about 6 others that I just couldn't connect the artist or song name to at all, maddening. That was brutal but commendable and fun. Thanks!

The current high score at this early date is a quite respectible 49 points (out of a possible 100 points). Keep 'em coming! [8D]
To give you some idea what you're up against, my sources for the sampler break down like this:
20 songs from 80s Vario

I'll post the answers after I get a reasonable number of responses. I have only received a few so far. Don't be chicken people! There's no shame in not knowing all this stuff. I'd frankly be shocke

Well since folks seem to be hesitant to email me their responses (I've only received 3 so far!), I've decided to reward those who send them with the complete answer sheet by return email. [^]
At this rate of response, we could be awhile before I post t

OK - - I just sent fritzb my responses, and I've got to tell you, my list put the "ick" in pathetic.
'Name that Tune' has put some things into perspective for me:
