1--What made his show so cool was that when it ran on Cinemax, the humour was cutting edge and quite unconventional
2--Max was only known to those in New Wave circles before ABC got it and commercialised it for the masses (which ruined it).
3--Art Of Noise completely tailored Max's image so that true 80s afficionados and New Wave purists fully could appreciate Max
